Marketing Project Summer Intern
Summary: The successful applicant will be responsible for gathering detailed content from our hundreds of facility partners, creating descriptive facility website page, implementing/testing new pages on our website and entering the facility data into CRM. This content project will enhance our website visitor’s experience and streamline sales operations. Where time allows, create newsletter and email content for clients and prospects.
- Utilize email, electronic surveys and outbound telephone calls to collect the facility data
- Organize the data, identify and collect missing information in a timely function
- Learn SEO best practices for website content
- Write individual descriptive webpages, using SEO best practices
- Submit pages to website provider
- Test all details of new pages along with their interaction with Find A Location feature
- Communicate changes and corrections to website provider or via Word Press
- Enter facility data into Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Add facility photos to sales database
- Create email and newsletter content for product initiative
Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the President and takes direction from the Marketing Consultant.
Location: Westerville
Working Hours: 25 hours weekly beginning as early as June 1, 2017 for 10-12 weeks
Pay: $12/hour
Key Performance Metrics:
- Complete facility surveys for 80% of our locations
- All facility survey data entered into CRM
- Descriptive location pages tested and implemented on website
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- A student majoring in any of the following areas: English, marketing, advertising, PR, communications
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Solid project management skills and ability to manage the details
- Persuasive writing experience
- Must be detailed oriented, team player and technologically savvy
- Fearless attitude toward making telephone calls and willingness to learn
